LESLEY GOFF - FINE ART - I am a local Norfolk artist with a love of drawing since childhood, which has developed into a passion for painting - I cover a whole range of subjects : wildlife and domestic animals in pastels, figurative, seascapes, Art Deco ladies and still life in acrylic and oils, flowers in water colours. Some examples of my work can be viewed on my website
KEVIN TURTON - CONTEMPORARY ABSTRACTED LANDSCAPES - Kevin lives near the wild North Norfolk coast with its vast skies, equally vast beaches and intricate salt marshes. His work mainly reflects this unique area, capturing its character in a contemporary abstract style. he also aims to interpret a sense of 'being there' by using heavy acrylic textures and deep glazes to reflect and refract light and colour from different angles to enhance the illusion of 'moving through the landscape'
JOHN STEVENS - FINE ARTIST / ILLUSTRATOR - John works in oils, acrylic or pastel from his cottage studio at Whinburgh, Norfolk. His artistic interests are varied and current genre focuses on Contemporary Figurative Art and Portraiture. He has exhibited at the Mall Galleries London and in several Norwich Galleries, Norwich Cathedral, The Forum and Playhouse Theatre. John has taught in local schools, demonstrated to local art groups, and has illustrated several books by local authors.
HAZEL MILLINGTON - GLASS - Hazels' initial inspirations for her designs are many and varied but, being a long-term resident of Norfolk, the surrounding countryside - with its sweeping vistas and picturesque coasts - are her main inspiration. Mostly self-taught, Hazel uses contemporary and traditional techniques, employing the wonderful vibrant colours and hues in glass to create visual excitement, with a mix of hand-crafted fused glass and dichroic jewellery being the mainstay of her work.
JONATHAN DEER - GOLD & SILVERSMITH JEWELLER - Jonathans' inspiration for his work comes from a study of geometric shape and form and the interaction of these with different textures. Some of his work incorporates handmade lampwork glass, which is often treated with a number of techniques to produce an aged aspect. No jeweller ever finishes the process of development and learning new techniques, and this is what makes working with glass, gold and silver a fascinating and rewarding experience.
